Today, August 31, 2026, the Municipality of Mexico joins the nation in honoring the courage and sacrifices of our Filipino heroes.

Under the leadership of Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales, we also recognize our modern-day heroes. Our rescuers, health workers, public servants, volunteers, and citizens continue to serve our communities during times of need.

This year’s theme, “Kabayanihan ng Pilipino sa Panahon ng Pagbabago,” reminds us that heroism lives through service, unity, compassion, and responsibility.

May every Mexicano continue to help others and contribute to the progress of our community and nation.
