The Municipality of Mexico joined the nation in celebrating Arbor Day through the βTayo ang Kalikasan: Magtanim Ngayon Para sa Kinabukasanβ tree growing activity at Mexico Elementary School, Barangay Sto. Cristo.
With the full support of Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales, the activity was carried out in partnership with the Provincial Government, PGENRO, POST/DOST, MENRO, DA Mexico, Barangay Sto. Cristo, PSAU, and Citicore Foundation.
The event highlighted the importance of planting trees as an investment for the future. It also reaffirmed the municipalityβs commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
Arbor Day serves as a reminder that every tree planted strengthens the environment and secures the well-being of future generations.
