Hon. Teddy C. Tumang of the Municipality of Mexico received the National Quality Corn Achievers Award during the 15th Philippine National Corn Congress and National Corn and Cassava Awarding Ceremony held at Iloilo City in November 12, 2019.

The National Quality Corn Achievers Award is conferred to cities, municipalities, and provinces in the country for their outstanding performance towards the production of quality corn and the development of the corn industry.

The Municipality of Mexico is the only recipient of the award in province of Pampanga.
