2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Regional Assessment
LGU-Mexico successfully passed the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Regional Assessment—- The Municipal Government of Mexico led by Hon. Teddy Canlas Tumang welcomes the delegation from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) PAmpanga Field Office for this year’s SGLG 2023 Regional Assessment.
As the municipal government aims to bag its sixth SGLG award, a regional assessment and validation thru document and site validation was conducted by the assessment team.
This year’s Regional Assessment Team is lead by their team leader Dir. Myra B. Moral- Soriano, Provincial Director, DILG Pampanga, Engr. Jose Algy Canlas, Cluster Team Leader , LGOO VI Paul Michael Blanco, LGOO II Jayson Flores, and Pastor Reland P. Francisco, CSO Representative.
Assisting the validators are the department/section heads of the LGU and MLGOO Rita Policarpio- Gotiangco. Various facilities and centers managed and maintained by the municipal government were inspected by the assessment team to validate the compliance of the lgu as per the SGLG criteria/ indicators.
The municipal government is now waiting for the national validation.
Mayor Teddy Canlas Tumang said that he is confident that LGU-Mexico will be conferred with its sixth Seal of Good Local Governance Award.
Sangguniang Bayan Members, Hon. Susana “Site” Siron, Hon. Trina, Dizon-Guevarra, Hon. Rex D.L. Calma, Hon. Romeo Payabyab, ABC Pres., Hon. Terence S. Napao and SKMF President, Hon. Vince Marion Balajadia also graced and attended the regional assessment.
After the exit conference, document and on-site validation , Mexico successfully passed the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Regional Assessment.
