ADVISORY: MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF MEXICO ADOPTS MALACAÑANG MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 128

The Municipal Government of Mexico, under the leadership of Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales, adopts Memorandum Circular No. 128 issued by the Office of the President.

The directive requires government offices and schools in Pampanga and other affected areas to implement Alternative Work Arrangements and Alternative Learning Modalities on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

The following arrangements will take effect:

• Municipal Government offices will implement a work-from-home setup.
• Public and private schools at all levels will implement online classes or other applicable learning modalities.
• Offices responsible for basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital government functions will remain operational.

Mayor Ruding Gonzales urges every Mexicano to follow official safety protocols, avoid flooded areas, and monitor announcements from the Municipal Government of Mexico and concerned government agencies.
