BAYUNG MEXICO: RENOVATED PUBLIC MARKET INAUGURATED

MEXICO, Pampanga – The local government led by Mayor Rodencio S. Gonzales showcased on April 30 the newly rehabilitated public market here, calling it “state-of-the-art pride for the Mexicanos.” Comprising 64 commercial stalls and 74 tables, the three-story market has its own elevator for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. It also houses a learning center located on the third floor. Sta. Monica Parish rector Fr. Dixie Paras officiated the blessing of the market with the traditional ribbon-cutting rites led by Gonzales with Vice Mayor Jonathan Pangan, members of the sangguniang bayan, and special guest Pampanga 3rd District Rep. Mica Gonzales. Also inaugurated during the day were the Parian Road improvement and the municipality-wide streetlight projects.
