CHRISTMAS LIGHTS BRIGHTEN MEXICO, PAMPANGA

The municipality of Mexico officially welcomed the Christmas season through the Ding Maningning a tala Ilang Guia ning Bayung Mexico” Christmas lantern lighting ceremony held on November 6,2025, at San Antonio Bridge.

The event was led by Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales and Vice-Mayor Doc Pangan, together with Sangguniang Bayan Members Allaine C. Ramos, Lourdes G. Sicat, John Paul D. Gozun, Tristar P. Sotto, Vince C. Balajadia, and Ariel B. Bonus. The lighting of the parol signified unity and hope for every household in Mexico.

Board Member Mymy Gonzales and Congresswoman Mica Gonzales graced the event, extending their messages of love, peace, and solidarity as the town enters the most festive time of the year.

In his message , Mayor Gonzales emphasized the importance of continuing trditions that strengthen community spirit. He announced he will visit the municipal office on Christmas Day to personally give aguinaldo to all mexicanos that will visit the municipal hall.

The event, organized by the Mexico Arts,Culture and Tourism Office (MACTO), symbolized not only the start of the Christmas celebration but also the guiding light of faith and service that unites the people of Mexico.

The municipal government reaffirmed its commitment to nurture a community built in love , hope, and togetherness through its guiding principle, “Ing bayung mexico, Serbisyung Ating Pusu.”
