Compliance Assessment
HAPPENING NOW: The Manila Bay Clean-up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Program is currently conducting a Compliance Assessment in the Municipality of Mexico, Pampanga.
The said assessment serves as a mechanism in monitoring the compliance of LGUs within the Manila Bay watershed with regard to their adherence to the Supreme Court mandamus directing 13 government agencies to clean up, rehabilitate, and preserve Manila Bay, and restore and maintain its waters.
The Manila Bay area covers eight provinces and 178 local government units in the country, including the Municipality of Mexico, Pampanga.
The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) lead by Engr. Arvin N. Siron lead the taskforce during the conduct of the regional validation.
