Municipality of Mexico ranks first among the top local government units in the whole country to accomplish project/s for the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) for Fiscal Year 2022.
This is a testament of an effective, efficient and excellent implementation of programs and projects in the municipality lead by the Hon. Teddy Canlas Tumang and the Sangguniang Bayan of Mexico.
The SGLGIF is an incentive fund given to a local government unit as a recipient of the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award.
The SGLG incentive fund was established through Republic Act 11292 or the SGLG Act of 2019 which aims to harmonize local government initiatives with the national development agenda.
