FLOOD UPDATE IN MEXICO

Mexico Mayor Ruding S. Gonzales said on Monday that because of the use of heavy equipment purchased by the LGU of Mexico, there is less flooding, adding that only flash floods exist and with in a few hours the flooding is gone.

Mayor Gonzales also reminded his fellow Mexicaños to stay safe during the rainy season

urging his constituents to remain cautious and vigilant as the rainy season continues.

The mayor advised residents to stay indoors whenever possible and avoid going outside unless necessary to minimize exposure to potential hazards.

Gonzales also emphasized that the Local Government Unit (LGU) is prepared to provide assistance and emergency response in the event of any disaster. He assured residents that municipal funds are allocated and being utilized for the welfare and financial assistance of the community, particularly during times of crisis and natural disasters.
