Gift of Art: Mylene Quito Donates Masterpiece of Municipality of Mexico

𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭: 𝐌𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨

Ms. Mylene Quito, a proud daughter of Mexico, Pampanga, shared a heartfelt gift with her hometown by donating one of her masterpieces from her art exhibit, “Sibul ning Lugud at Leguan”, to the Municipality of Mexico.

In a simple yet meaningful ceremony, Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales received the artwork on behalf of the local government. More than a painting, the piece embodies resilience, love, and hope—values deeply rooted in the Kapampangan spirit.

The awarding of the donation was witnessed by Vice-Mayor Doc Pangan, Councilors Allaine Ramos, Engr. Tristar Sotto, Architect Ariel Bonus, and Mexico Arts, Culture and Tourism Officer Michael Angelo Panlilio.

Ms. Mylene Quito’s donation stands as a reminder that art is more than an expression of creativity. It is a legacy of hope and pride that will continue to inspire future generations of Mexicanos.
