Honoring bravery in the line of duty.

Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales personally awarded the Certificate of Merit to four heroic firefighters—FO2 John Oliver R. Tayag, FO2 John Frederick G. Dimatulac, FO1 Eruinne P. Malig, and Fire Aide Romancharlo F. Razon—for their courageous rescue of two children trapped on the second floor during the October 18, 2025 fire incident in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Mexico, Pampanga.

Mayor Ruding will also award Certificates of Merit to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Mexico and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) in recognition of their bravery, teamwork, and swift response that helped save lives and protect the community.
