Maribel Salunga Takes Oat as Seventh Kagawad of Barangay Gandus

The Municipality of Mexico welcomed a new addition to its barangay leadership as Maribel S. Salunga officially took her oath of office as the seventh Barangay Kagawad of Gandus on September 29 before Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by MLGOO Consesa M. Nubio, Councilors Allaine Ramos and Architect Ariel Bonus, members of the Gandus Barangay Council, and the families of the newly sworn-in official, serving as witnesses to the event.

Mayor Ruding emphasized that the continuing collaboration between the municipal government and barangay councils plays a vital role in ensuring effective public service delivery. He reaffirmed his administration’s support for empowering barangay leaders in carrying out their duties and responsibilities to the people.

The event stood as a testament to the unity and cooperation among local leaders in Mexico, underscoring the municipality’s collective commitment to progress and service for every Mexican citizen.
