Mayor Ruding, DPWH officials Finalize Plans for Public Market Rehab

Municipal Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” Gonzales convened a crucial meeting with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Thursday, February 29, 2024 to advance discussions on the rehabilitation of the Mexico Public Market.
Attended by Acting Municipal Engineer Tristar Sotto, Engineers II Kristine Dizon, Christian Lingat, Edward Tala, and Architect I John Gilbert Nepomuceno from DPWH’s 1st District Engineering Office (DEO), the meeting aimed to finalize plans for the much-needed refurbishment of the market.
Mayor Ruding Gonzales emphasized the importance of this project for the Mexicanos, highlighting the collaborative effort between the municipal government and DPWH to enhance infrastructure and support economic development in Mexico.
With the commitment of both parties, the rehabilitation of Mexico Public Market is expected to address various structural and functional improvements, ensuring a clean and vibrant marketplace that meets the needs of every Mexicano.
