Mayor Ruding Leads Financial Aid and Oral Hygiene Kit Distribution for Children with Special Needs

Hope grows when a community chooses to care.

Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales led the distribution of financial assistance for children with special needs in the Municipality of Mexico. Through this program, 30 child beneficiaries received support of up to P20,000 to help meet their health and daily needs.

Vice-Mayor Doc Pangan and members of the Sangguniang Bayan also joined the activity, showing the local government’s shared commitment to protect, support, and uplift children with special needs.

As part of the same program, 200 children also received Oral Hygiene Kits, including learners from day care centers. According to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, this forms part of a wider initiative to distribute a total of 1,500 Oral Hygiene Kits to different day care centers across the municipality.

The program was spearheaded by the MSWDO under the leadership of MSWD Officer Sharmaine Pabustan-Sigua, with the goal of strengthening social services for every Mexicano family.

This initiative reflects the continuing compassion and action of the local government under Mayor Ruding’s leadership. In Mexico, every child matters. Every need is heard. Every act of service brings hope closer to home.
