Mayor Ruding Leads Relief Operations for Over 1,000 Flood-Affected Families in the Municipality

Over 1,000 families in Mexico, Pampanga received immediate relief as the LGU launched a full-scale response to recent flooding caused by days of heavy Southwest Monsoon rain.
On July 31, Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales and Vice-Mayor Doc Pangan personally led the distribution of food packs, vitamins, hygiene kits, and DSWD sleeping kits to affected households in Barangays Lagundi, Parian, Sto. Cristo, and San Jose Matulid.
Councilors Engr. Tristar Sotto and Allaine Ramos joined the relief efforts, working alongside MSWDO Head Sharmaine Pabustan-Sigua, MDRRMO Victor Sundiang and her team to ensure smooth logistics.
The aid came from the LGU’s disaster stockpile and was strengthened by 1,000 boxed items officially turned over by DSWD Region III.
Mayor Gonzales extended his gratitude to DSWD for the continued support and assured the public that the LGU remains ready to respond to the needs of its people.
