MAYOR RUDING SUPPORTS STRENGTHENING OF OFW FAMILY ORGANIZATION IN MEXICO

OWWA Pampanga Family Welfare Officer Cristal Joy G. Toriano, together with Audie Dela Cruz, President of Mexicano Around The World, Vice President Elvira Reyes, and Board of Directors Mylene Gonzales and Eduardo Reyes, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales at the Office of the Municipal Mayor. The group was accompanied by PESO Manager Romeo P. Tiglao.

During the meeting, they discussed various benefits and programs for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families, as well as the importance of organizing OFW families per barangay in the Municipality of Mexico to ensure better access to assistance, information, and government services.

Mayor Ruding welcomed the initiative and expressed his full support for efforts that aim to uplift the welfare of OFWs and their families. He emphasized the vital role of organized OFW family groups in strengthening community support systems and ensuring that no family is left behind.

The courtesy visit highlighted the shared commitment of the local government and partner organizations to continuously work together for the protection, empowerment, and well-being of OFWs and their loved ones in Mexico.
