MEXICO JOINS THE 2026 GOVERNOR’S CUP BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 🏀🔥

The Municipality of Mexico, under the leadership of Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales, proudly joins the opening of the 2026 Governor’s Cup Pampanga Inter-Cities and Municipalities Basketball Tournament, 18 Under Division, at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in the City of San Fernando.

The tournament, led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, gathers young basketball players from cities and municipalities across Pampanga.

Representing the municipality is the Ing Bayung Mexico Basketball Team, which enters the competition with discipline, teamwork, and pride.

Present at the opening are Municipal Administrator Engr. Nestor S. Pineda, the Local Youth Development Office headed by Ms. Alyona M. Bondoc-Camiguing, SK Federation President Hon. Jerome Pabustan, the Ing Bayung Mexico coaching staff, and Mutya Ning Mexico 2026 Cassandra Zarate, who serves as the team muse.
