PROJECT TRASHTALK : LGBTQA +++ Recycled Clothing Making Contest

Under the leadership of Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales, the local youth development office of the municipality of Mexico headed by LYDO Alyona M. Bondoc – Camiguing has been awarded as Notable Innovation on Solid Waste Management (Recycling) for the project Trashtalk: LGBTQA+++ Recycled Clothing Making Contest to recognize its exemplary contribution as Youth Advocate for Outstanding Governance Towards a Holistic Nation – Championing Excellence , Commitment, and Knowledge (YOUTH -CHECK) during the Provincial Youth Congress & YOUTH-CHECK Awarding Ceremony held last november 13, 2025 at Pampanga State University, Bacolor , Pampanga.

This distinction is conferred in acknowledgement of the remarkable efforts in promoting innovation, leadership, and good governance- embodying the ideals of excellence, commitment, and knowledge that inspire positive change among the youth and the nation.

This award is a testament of the local government unit of Mexico’s dedication, commitment, and support to programs promoting the overall welfare and recognizing the vital role of the youth in nation-building.

On the same ceremony, the Sangguniang Kabataan Councils of Barangay San Antonio, Santa Cruz, Sapang Maisac, and tangle were also recognized as potential passers on the provincial level of the Most Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan Council.
