PUBLIC ADVISORY: SKELETAL WORKFORCE TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES

The Municipal Government of Mexico, under the leadership of Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales, adopts Memorandum Circular No. 131 issued by the Office of the President.

In response to the continued heavy rainfall associated with the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon, the Municipal Government will implement appropriate work arrangements on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

The following arrangements will take effect:

• Municipal Government offices will implement a skeletal workforce.

• Offices responsible for basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital government services will remain operational to ensure the continuous delivery of essential services.

• Work arrangements or suspension of work in private establishments will remain at the discretion of their respective management.

Mayor Ruding Gonzales reminds every Mexicano to remain alert, avoid flooded and high risk areas, and continue monitoring official announcements from the Municipal Government of Mexico and concerned government agencies.
