Site Monitor in Possible Effects and Impacts of the “Typhoon Egay”

JULY 24,2023-July 29,2023— The Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) headed and led by Mayor Teddy Canlas Tumang monitors the possible effects and impacts of the “Typhoon Egay” in the Municipality of Mexico.
On these days assessment, rescue operations and evacuation of affected families and declogging and clearing operations were conducted. Further, 24/7 operations of the Municipal Disaster and Risk Reductions Office’s Operations Center was also activated.
The MDRRMC thru the Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), assessment and assistance to affected households and families were properly given/provided.
Other stakeholders and partners including all barangay councils in the Town also took part to ensure the safety and security of every Mexicanos.
The Municipal Government encourages everyone to be vigilant and always be ready.
