SOCIAL PENSION PAYOUT FOR 1,227 SENIOR CITIZENS HELD IN MEXICO, PAMPANGA

MEXICO, PAMPANGA — A successful 3rd Quarter Social Pension Payout was conducted on September 17, 2026, at the Mini Convention Center, Mexico, Pampanga, benefiting a total of 1,227 senior citizens from the different barangays of the Municipality of Mexico.

The payout was led by Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” Gonzales, with the support of Vice Mayor Doc Jonathan Pangan and the Sangguniang Bayan of Mexico. Also present during the distribution were Councilor Engr. Tristar Sotto and Councilor Vince Balajadia, who joined the municipal leadership in overseeing and supporting the activity.

The Social Pension Program continues to provide vital financial assistance to qualified senior citizens, helping address some of their basic needs and contributing to their welfare and well-being.

The Municipal Government of Mexico extends its sincere appreciation to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region III, to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Headed by Sharmaine Ann Pabustan-Sigua, and the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), for their continued partnership and support in the implementation of the Social Pension Program.

The Municipal Government likewise expresses its appreciation to the Municipal Treasurer’s Office – Mexico Pampanga, headed by Ms. Leilani Canlas, for its valuable assistance and support in facilitating the orderly and efficient conduct of the payout.

Through the collaborative efforts of the national and local government, the 3rd Quarter Social Pension Payout was successfully carried out, reaching 1,227 senior citizens across Mexico, Pampanga.
