The Municipal Government of Mexico has taken immediate action regarding the reported wastewater discharge and foul odor in Barangay San Jose Malino.

An inspection was conducted right away by MENRO, the Municipal Health Office-Sanitary Office, and the Barangay Council. Based on initial findings, a Notice of Violation and Environmental Violation Ticket will be issued, while further investigation and laboratory analysis are ongoing.
The Municipality remains firm in enforcing environmental laws and protecting public health and the environment.
