“YOUth MATTER: Youth Voices, Real Issues”

Through the leadership and support of Mayor Ruding Santos Gonzales, the Mexico Youth Development Office headed by LYDO Alyona M. Bondoc – Camiguing successfully conducted the first day of the Information and Education Campaign (IEC) entitled “YOUth MATTER: Youth Voices, Real Issues” to Senior High School students at Don Jesus Gonzales High School in Barangay Pandacaqui and Malino National High School in Barangay San Jose Malino.

The campaign focused on topics relative to youth social issues, namely;
– Mental Health Awareness
– Adolescent Health & Teenage Pregnancy
– HIV Prevention & Awareness
– Anti-Bullying Awareness (with focus on Cyberbullying)

Alongside the presentations, short films and posters from the Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 Celebration relative to the topics were shown to the students as a reflection of reality and during discussions, students actively participated by raising and answering questions.

This information and education campaign is one of the efforts of the local government to ensure the welfare and overall well-being of the youth.
